Tape bloom

Tape-ceiling bloom, with a reverb fed by what the ceiling shaves off.

• Flattens hot peaks against a soft tape ceiling, then holds the note up as the tape lets go.
• The harder you hit it, the longer it blooms. The release comes from your playing, not a fixed time.
• Space: a reverb fed by what the ceiling shaves off (Chamber, Plate or Tape Echo), ducking out of the way while the note blooms.
• Focus: choose what the ceiling listens to (Thump, Body, Snap or Full).
• No hiss, no wow, no flutter. The behaviour is the product.
